I feel privileged to have known "Uncle" Eddie. He was such a good man, a real gentleman. 
I don't know of any other man who loved his wife so deeply and obviously. 
Such a gracious host, always warm and welcoming...so eager to please (and to put your favorite drink in your hand!).
This kind man will be missed.

Dear Marlene, Kay and Henry,

It was painful to hear of Eddie's passing. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you.  He will be greatly missed. I will include Eddie in my daily prayers. 


Dear Marlene, Uncle Henry and Aunt Kay,

I will always have fond memories of the time I spent with Eddie. We had just returned from Europe and our family stopped over in Hamilton for a visit. While our parents reconnected Eddie took me out to see the sights. I especially remember his kindness and caring.  His gentle spirit and loving nature will never be forgotten. There is a great emptiness that I know Marlene, Winston and Katie feel.   I trust that the love he always showed them will bring comfort during this difficult time.

Though I may be far away my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. You will be forever in my heart cousin Eddie.  Love always Jennifer.

       It has been a difficult time for your family with the deaths of Ed and Msgr. Ed just yesterday.  In the words of  Tagore “death is  extinguishing  the lamp because the dawn has come.” May time and prayers heal what no words can. You and yours will be remembered in my masses and prayers.

We may not have seen each other on a regular basis, but you were very much loved and respected as a member of our family.  You were part of several heartfelt milestones in our lives; walking me down the aisle at my wedding and Godfather to both myself and Sarah.  You made Auntie Marlene smile everyday with your wit and your love for her, you will always be thought of with loving hearts.

We are so sad to hear of Ed’s passing. Both my husband Rob and I worked with Ed at Holy Family School. We will always remember our chats and we will definitely miss his restaurant recommendations. May he rest in peace🙏🏻❤️

I worked with Ed for many years at Holy Family School. We both loved talking about the newest, best restaurant to eat at next! We shared a love for food! 
Ed, you are greatly missed by the staff and students at the school.

Uncle Ed you were the best.  You were always smiling, especially when you talked about Aunt Marlene and her wonderful dinners and your beautiful pups.  They are so sad without you and you have left a hole in all of our hearts.  I will miss your "special" drinks, your jokes and most of all your hugs.  No one can ever fill your shoes, but I will make sure Aunt Marlene and Katie and Winston are taken care of.  Love you and miss you xo

Ed will be missed by the staff of Holy Family School. "Mr. Ed" will be fondly remembered by so many students.  He always had time to listen and a story to tell.  He was so proud of you Marlene and told stories of your adventures with such affection.  Please know that you are in the prayers of our entire community.
