Ed, you were my first neighbour in Dundas and we couldn't have hoped for a nicer guy to live next door.  Those were interesting times.

We have been blessed to know such an amazing and happy man! I had the honor of having Ed as a Neighbour growing up, seeing all his big smiles, and watching him and my dad have too much fun! So many memories that will never be forgotten! I love the Thoms like family and Wish to send all our love and prayers to the family and friends that lost someone so special!

Sending all of you peace, love and light. The love and stories that have been shared to me from Ashley, and just from the posts here show how wonderful and loved Ed was. He definitely will live on and be with you always in energy, spirit, heart and memory. Wishing you all the best x x x

Life on Bayview Road in Fenelon Falls was special because of Pat and Ed (and their families as well). These guys were a team with such a special bond that inspired and amused us all. Fond memories of bumping into them in Sobey's or Canadian Tire and hearing them yelling across the aisles at each other. They built me a beautiful stone firepit and promised to cut down a tree near the lake. I told Ed this summer that the tree would never be cut down and I was naming it "Ed." The street will never be the same without you. U were an amazing friend. So helpful and supportive. Loving and kind. I too like Pat say thank you so much for helping with that sofa. When I look up in the sky and see the brightest start shining I know it will be you. Never will you be forgotten.

We are so lucky to have met such an amazing guy as Ed.  We will never forget the times we spent on Cameron Lake in his company. Gone way too soon.

For over 34 years you were my best friend always true no matter what always wanting to do all you could thank you so much for helping me in with that couch it started a friendship that I will honor and cherish for the rest of my life everything I build you will be by my side making it straight and level enjoy decorating the tree with your mom my friend I will always love you for the true friend you were to me "until we meet again" rest in peace buddy

I remember when Ed met Marilee and they began a loving relationship and life together.  I will always remember Ed's wonderful sense of humour and his hardworking ethics and how he made us feel welcome in his home.  Rest in peace knowing you will never be forgotten.

I remember Ed's sense of humor best. We were in grade school together...Rest in Paradise lovely man.

My uncle Ed was always so kind and loving to me. His generosity and big smile still touches my heart. I am so much richer for having known your love. Your big smile and infectious laugh lives on in your incredible children. They all remind me of you so much in their gentleness of heart.

Remember that time you "taught" me to swim and threw me off the side of the boat into the lake, then felt so bad when you discovered I couldn't actually swim, you threw Ash in too. We laughed so many times about that. What an incredible hole that is left by your leaving this world.

Thank you for sharing your love with me. I miss you and will always remember you.
