Eileen died peacefully, at the age of 81 years, after a long illness, on August 16, 2010 at the Doctor Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton. Loving widow of John North, who died in September 2000. Beloved sister of Patrick, Michael, John and Christopher and their families. Eileen will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, both in Canada and the United Kingdom. Memorial visitation for Eileen will take place at St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave.) on Friday, August 20th from 10 a.m. up until a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Interment of Eileen's ashes will take place at a later date, and beside those of John, in Coalville, N.Y. Family flowers only. Donations towards the work of the Hospice would be very welcomed. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all Eileen's friends for the loving support and help given to Eileen over the last year and, particularly, over the last few weeks of her life. The family's thanks also go to the nurses, volunteers and staff at both St. Joseph's Health Care Centre and the Doctor Bob Kemp Hospice, for their wonderful care.
