Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 surrounded by family at the Juravinski Hospital in her 89th year. Loving and beloved wife for 69 years of Bill. Treasured mother of Linda (Larry) VanKuren, Ruth (Ray) Thomson, Jim (Marg), Bill (Lois), Roberta (Gary) McKechnie, Don (Kim), and the late June Cottrell. Adored grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 14. Ellen was known as the “cookie-lady” for the Gemini Group. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
