Went home to be with her LORD and Saviour on May 12, 2016 at the age of 69. Predeceased by her husband Bruce "Bill" and her mother Jean. Loving mother of Paula Wardle (Nathan) and Catherine Griffiths. Beloved grandma of Nolan, Aidyn and Levi. Dear sister of Leslie. She will be sadly missed by her close friends and cherished relatives. Ellen's two biggest passions in life were being a mother and being a long time active member in her church Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. She will always be remembered for her hugs. Special thanks to the staff at the General Hospital and Dr. Sharma for their patience and compassionate care. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Monday, May 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington St., on Tuesday, May 17th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
