

On Friday, March 9, 2012, Emilia was taken by her angels back home. She was a daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend but to all she was the greatest cook in the world and she could nurture anyone back to health with her home remedies. Her legacy will be her amazing work ethic and how she always put other’s needs ahead of her own. Beloved wife of Michele for 62 years. Loving mother of Linda Castelli (Emidio), Ann Flammini (Luigi) and Romeo Taraschi (Michelina). Cherished grandmother of Mark, Dean, Tanya Jones (Steve), Michelle, Michael and now re-united with her grandson Pat. Special great-grandmother of Matthew, Owen and Alexis. Dear sister of Gabriele Rocci (Filomena), Algisa Rastelli (Mario), Domenico Rocci (Carmine) and Ginetta DiMarco (Cecchino). Dear sister-in-law of Filomena Taraschi, Splendora Narcisi, Erminia Passamonte, Antonio Dignazio, Elvira Rapachietti (Giuseppe), Chiarina Catena, Mario Marsilii and Rinaldo Taraschi. Predeceased by her sister Addolorata Marsilii. Sister-in-law of the late Lucia and Franco Rocci, Cesare Taraschi, Vincenzo Passamonte, Cesare Catena, Antonio Taraschi, Aldo Taraschi, Umberto and Dora Taraschi, Orlando Narcisi, Domenica Dignazio and AssuntaTaraschi. Emilia will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 5-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 5:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church (Barton at Nash) on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 9am. Entombment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
