Peacefully into the hands of the Lord on April 16, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of Helen for 45 years. Devoted father of Goldie (Larry), Robyn (Guido) and Ernest (Crystal). Grandpa of Wendy (Steve), Darryl (Tara), Kristyn, Timothy, Devan, Tyler, Makala, and Destinee. Great grandpa of Kaelie, Erika, Seila and Ravyn. Predeceased by his sisters June, Joyce, Ruby and brother Danny. Dear brother of Florry, Gord, Judy, Bryane, Wayne. Sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. Ernie was a truck driver for over 45 years. After retirement he took to the open road with his wife Helen and the two formed Real Life Trucking Ministries. They met many people and formed many friendships. Ernie will be remembered and missed by so many. Visitation for Ernie will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Ernie's Life will be celebrated with a service at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle (1355 Upper Wellington) on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
