Esther "Rene" Berryman

Passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 89, wife of the late Wilfred James Berryman, sister-in-law of Lawrence and Patricia Berryman and Iris Berryman. Predeceased by her parents Byron and Ada Kelly, brother Wm. Ewart, sisters Aletha, Clara and Ruth. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to my Rutherford family for Sunday night dinners, our get-togethers and travelling. To my friend Linda who called every day to make sure I was up and well. To friends from paper tole classes at Mohawk College. To my friends- Take Pleasure in the simple things in life and appreciate the people you meet along the way. Rene was a member of Delta United Church and Livingstone United Church (until its closing). Was retired from International Harvester Co. after 30 years of service. Thanks for all the kindness shown to Rene by all the staff at Caroline Place. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (East of Sanford), Hamilton, on Sunday, October 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
