A proud WWII veteran and Royal Canadian Legion member, branch 163 passed away suddenly in Dunnville on February 5, 2016 in his 97th year. Husband to the late Christiana. Loving father to Nancy Miller (Rick), Judy Howard, Patricia Bielic (Zygmund) and the late Jimmy. Predeceased by brothers Carl and Paul and survived by his sisters Marie, Becky and Christine and by his brother Ernest. He will be dearly missed by his 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. His family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm with celebration of Mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 200 Mt. Albion Rd at 2 p.m. with cremation to follow. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
