Sadly we announce the peaceful passing of Eugenie on February 20, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband John and son Gregory. Cherished mother of Alex and his wife Angela as well as Peter and his wife Jennifer. Loving Baba to Andrew, Amanda, Greg, Mike, Dan and Sarah. Dearly missed by her sister-in-law Nina and her husband Mike as well as niece Donna and nephew John. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Hamilton for their care and loving compassion showed to Eugenie and our family over the past 2 years. Visitation will take place at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East at the Delta, (opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Vladimir's Church 855 Barton Street East on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
