STRUS, Eva She will always be in our hearts and minds. Mother peacefully slipped away on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice. Survived by her four children, Michael, William (Marian), Bonnie, Sonnia (Michael Martorana) and her sister Mary Ann (Michael Hutnyk). Grandmother to Tanya and Jason and Matthew Martorana, Catherine and Ryan Strus. Family and friends may call at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East (at Kenilworth Ave.), Hamilton, on Wednesday, December 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m. Panachyda Wednesday, December 22nd at 7:30 p.m. Orthodox funeral rites Thursday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the palliative care nurses from Bayshore Home Health and especially the nurses, staff and volunteers at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
