MORRISON, Evelyn He saw you getting tired and a cure was not meant to be, so He put His loving arms around you and whispered "Evelyn, come to me" Surrounded by her loving and devoted daughters Evelyn (wee), Diane and Lorna, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved and cherished Mother Evelyn (Mum), on August 25, 2010. After a long and courageous journey, Mum has gone home to her loving husband of 48 years, Duncan (March 13, 2005). Dearly loved mother-in-law of Bill Vonic and the late Sam Veltri (July 12, 2007). Loving and proud Grandma of Scott (Kayla), Ian, Michael (April), Ashley, Samantha (Mike), Dylan, Adam and Kristopher. Proud first time Great-grandma to Summer. Survived by Helen (Australia) Nan, May and Lilly of Edinburgh, Scotland. Immigrated to Canada December, 1972. Words cannot express our sincerest and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Mum's and our extended family at Queen's Gardens L.T.C.F., Jamesville Wing. Your love, support and compassion will never be forgotten, you are all remarkable angels, thank-you. Visiting at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. East on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
