SIMPSON, Frances Loretta (nee Melody) It is with great sadness that on September 2, 2015, in her 97th year; we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nanna and Great-Grandmother, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Ernest (1977). She will be dearly missed by her children, Robert, Katherine (Aidan), John (Susan), Frank (Susan), Chris (Chantal) and most beloved daughter, caregiver and companion Mary Ellen, and special friend Irene. Frances was the proud Grandmother of Theresa, Ginny, Rob, Andrea, Barry, Jennifer, Sylvia, Lisa, Cheryl, James, Jeffery, Jason and Matthew as well as fourteen great-grandchildren. Frances was a tiny lady, with a love so great to be shared by all who knew her. She was the Granddaughter of a U.S. Civil War Veteran. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Joseph Brant Hospital and Dr. Armstrong. As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
