TASSI, Frances (nee Ambrosini) Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on February 13, 2011, in her 97th year. Frances has gone to be with our Lord and Saviour. Predeceased by her husband Guido (2001). Frances will be dearly missed by her devoted daughter, June and granddaughter Denise (Earl) and great-grandchildren Amanda and Christopher. Predeceased by sisters Mary, Peggy, Sally, Delores and by brother Johnny. Survived by her sister-in-law Gerri Ambrosini, Irene Tassi and Rosaline Rocchi. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Homemade pezzels, gnocchi, sauce, meatballs and cannelloni brought family together for holiday gatherings. The family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E., on Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
