Predeceased by her parents Thomas Albert and Edith Smith and her nephew David Smith. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Tom, sister-in law Anne, nephews Jeff (Kelly), Ben (Julie), and Rob (Michelle), their families, and many friends.
In her younger years, Gail was a secretary at the Board of Education and later at Children's Aid. She was an accomplished pianist and played at school events. Her deep faith allowed her to touch many lives and gave her contact with the outside world when her health challenges kept her at home. Many thanks to Jill and her family and Maggie and her family for their love and care over the last few years.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 2:30 pm. Private burial at Burkholder Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Allergy and Environmental Health Assoc. (AEHA) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
