Peacefully, at Arbour Creek LTC on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Father of Micahel and George Jr. Grandfather of Ashley, Ryan, Alexandra and Brandon. Survived by his brother Danny Steplock. Predeceased by his loving wife Anne and his step-son John. George has been retired from Ford for 30 years after a 30 year career there which included being Sargent At Arms for the CAW local 707. Friends and family will gather at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park, at the delta) on Saturday, April 6 from 2 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Cancer Research Society would be appreciated by the family.
