Gladys Margaret Dalgleish

Passed away very peacefully on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 at The WillowGrove Nursing Home in Ancaster in her 88th year. Predeceased by her devoted husband Eldred (2000). Lovingly remembered by her children Wayne (Claudia), Brent(Wendy), Peter(Linda) and Brenda(Erwin)Wisborg. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Gladys was a long time member of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. She will be remembered as a devoted homemaker who also cared for eight foster children. She was considered to be a life long learner and advocate for education. She held a B.A. in Political Science from McMaster University and a Library Technician Diploma from Mohawk College. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the dedicated staff at The WillowGrove for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E., Hamilton, on Friday, January 14th from 3 – 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton, on Saturday, January 15th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
