Mrs. Gladys Leota McIntyre

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys on March 31, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in her 81st year. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lennard Lewis Mc Intyre, beloved children Deborah Miller, Robert Mc Intyre, Lorie Coltart (Stuart), cherished grandchildren Samantha and Shannon Miller, Iain and Scott Brown, step-grandchildren Jason, Jennifer and Stephanie Coltart, brothers Bob and Ralph Cartwright, sister Doris Short, and their families. Predeceased by parents Robert and Edna Cartwright, her aunt Leota Marshall, brother-in-law Albert Short and sisters-in-law Morleyn and Faye Cartwright. Gladys worked for 25 years in the Dietary Department at the Hamilton General Hospital and was a past member of the Mountain Lanes Ladies Bowling League. Special thanks to Dr. J. Legassie, nurse practitioner Barb and the nursing staff in the Long Term Care ward in the Marion Wing at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Family and friends will be received at CRESMOUNT “FENNELL”CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Ave. East, Hamilton on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. If wished, donations may be made to Burkholder United Church, 465 Mohawk Rd. E., Hamilton.
