I have loved and admired Gladys for as long as I’ve known her. Frank and Keith were very good friends so we enjoyed many times for breakfast, dinners, vacation, or just coffee and homemade biscuits! I was drawn by her gentle spirit and quick wit that usually made me laugh! She gave love and support to me through some seasons of life. She truly had a grateful heart…she was deeply loved and loved deeply…she was a special friend!

Gladys and Frank were a blessing to everyone who knew them. Bethel Hamilton was very blessed. I will fondly remember the  Sunday School classes and the yearly weekend trip to Elim Lodge. 
And now I can imagine the beautiful reunion in heaven!

So sorry to hear of Aunt Gladys’s passing. Aunt Gladys was truly a treasure,  you as family all well know. She will be truly missed by you and anyone who had any connection with her.
I have many great memories of Uncle Frank and all of you “cousins “, memories that were made over many years, but Aunt Gladys, with her warm smile and quiet ways, was the absolute rock that held you all together. She was truly an awesome woman.
Dwell on the great memories she left you all with and look forward to the day when you will all see her again.

My sincere condolences to the Pauls family! Despite her age and readiness for Heaven, Gladys was still a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend! She will be missed, but she was a Proverbs 31 woman, and left a godly heritage.
 
Gladys and one of my late sisters, Aileen (Morrison) Upton, were close friends at Central Gospel Tabernacle, and Aileen described Gladys  as a friend with so many wonderful qualities.

May you take great comfort in knowing she is now where she was headed from the time she committed her life to Christ. She is safely Home and has won  the prize, eternal life with Christ forever!

Mrs Pauls was an amazing Christian woman.  It was such an honour and blessing to know her since grade 4. At that time I became friends with Maureen, her daughter . That friendship has continued over my lifetime.

Our condolences to you.  I often visited her and Frank after I moved to the Hamilton area as a lonely teenager and she made me feel so welcome.  At family gatherings she would seek out my wife, Ruth Ann and I and we would catch up on family news.  I know that she will be missed by a lot of friends.

I   have  so  many  fond  memories,   of  your Mom and Dad, from  the  years  growing  up  at  Bethal  Tabernacle.   Plus  many  visits  with  your   MOM,  visiting  with  my  grandmother  Annie  Smith,  my  aunt  Muriel  Smith,   my  mom  Myrtle  Dixon!   I  can  only  dream  of  the  happy  reunion  in  Heaven  to  night,   around  GOD'S  huge  Banquk  table,  of  all  the Presious   SAINTS  from  Bethal,  Braside Camp,  and  oh so many  other  places!   I  want  you  all  to  know,  that  you  and  your  familys,  are  in  my  thoughts  and  prayers!!   Even  though,  this is  a  time  of  rejoicing,  because  of  your  MOM'S   close  relationship  with  her  loving  Lord and  Saviour,  you  will  still  miss  your  SPECIAL MOM,  and  in  those  moments,  I  pray  that  GOD  will  hold  you  a little  tighter,  and  wrap  your tears away! Gladys (and Frank) was such a role model to us her Spiritual children for many years during our times together in Sunday School, Church and our get-togethers.  Austin worked with her for many years in the kitchen and he often speaks of her and how wonderful she was to work with.  Her name and Frank's still come up often in our conversations. God placed us in Hamilton and in Bethel and under two of the most beloved people you could ever meet.  Frank was the teacher but Gladys made the team the success it was.  We will never forget her.  She was always there when needed and her counsel was always good and the love she shared with us will forever be remembered.  We thank God for placing us under her leadership.  This is not goodbye Gladys, it's only until we meet again.

I remember well how that Gladys, along with her sister Miriam and myself, loved and cared for her younger sister Doris who passed away a few years ago. Gladys was a compassionate woman who truly cared for others. We will miss her.

I miss my sister and look forward to reuniting with her in Heaven one day.
Blessed to have had each other.
