Peacefully in his sleep on October 31, 2017 in his 91st year. Beloved husband and best friend for 64 years to Zenna. Loving father to Mike (Mickey), Janet (Bruce), Anne (Gary) and the late Linda (Doug). Proud grandpa to Matthew, Sarah (Joe), Scott, Kevin and Sydney and great grandpa to Joseph, Henry and Ellis. Dear brother to Stella and to the late Mary. Brother-in-law to Steve Grzenda (the late Gladys), the late Jenny Strycharz (the late Frank), Stan Thaczyk (Shirley) and Walter Thaczyk. He will be dearly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Gord will always be remembered for his passions in woodworking, gardening, his family and life. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with cremation to follow.
