

Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, in the arms of her daughters, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's and its complications. Dearest loving mother of Patricia Cornish (Michael), Janice Noble (Ken), Grandchildren Elaine Elliott (Richard), Scott Elliott (Melissa), Sarah Noble, Kenneth Noble Jr., Robert Scott and several great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husbands Roy Campbell (1971) and Otto Davis (1991) and youngest daughter Christine Campbell (1987).
Hazel was born in a small community near Ottawa to Thomas Lemoine and Christina Morris and is also predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Donald, Clarence, Arnold, Gordon, Stanley, Leonard, Morgan and sister Dorothy. She was also predeceased by her mother-in-law, Maud (Grannie Campbell). Hazel was much loved by her family who have all benefited from her generous, caring and unselfish ways. We wish to thank the nurses and staff of Idlewyld Manor, Gateside, for the most excellent care given to Mom over the past 6-1/2 years and also the Hamilton General Hospital Trauma Unit and special thanks to Dr. Harper and the nursing staff on 8 south for their care and compassion, allowing Mom to pass from this life with the respect and dignity she deserved.
Her family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E., (905)5471121, on Monday January 17th from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation will follow.
