Helen Smith

Passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2016 at the age of 84. Reunited with her beloved husband of 45 years Peter (1998), sister Mary Boyko and friend Pauline. Loving mom of Brent and daughter in law Deborah. Cherished grandma of Jacob, Jayde and Jewel. Dear sister in law of George Boyko. Will be lovingly remembered by nephews Brad, Bryant godchildren Bruce, Tracey, niece Abbie and great nephew Grant. Helen was the Belle of the Ball, her charismatic charms, pleasant character and amazing personality made connections with many wonderful and dear friends, Doreen, Jackie ,Agnes, Irene, Norma , Yvonne and Vera just to name a few. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she has touched. A heartfelt thank you to neighbour, and watchman Steve MacKinnon for everything you have done to help Helen and our family. A memorial gathering and reception will be held at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (At Kenilworth) on Wednesday January 27, 2015 from 12noon until 3pm. Cremation has taken place. In Helens memory, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
