Helena Olejarz

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Helena at home on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the age of 87. Loving mother of Eleanor Zadlo and the late Antonette 'Tosia'. Very proud grandmother of Emily and Sam. Sister-in-law of Toni Swiderski; aunt of Mary, Ed (Glenda), Helen (Peter), Christine and Bobby (Joanne); great-aunt of Matt (Kelly), Lynn (Ben), Sam and Alex. Predeceased by her brother Chester. Helena was a longtime volunteer with St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church and the Hamilton Polish community. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, 8 St. Ann Street, Hamilton on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the C.N.I.B. or to the St. Stanislaus Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
