Henryk Wiercioch

Henryk is predeceased by the love of his life, wife Genowefa. Lovingly remembered by his children John (Anna) and Zygmunt (Catherine) and grandchildren Peter and Tania. Henryk was born in Szczawnica, Poland and emigrated to Canada with his family in 1968, to be with his parents and youngest sister.

He was a skilled machinist and welder and worked at United Steel and Metal Company (USARCO) as a supervisor and machinist, retiring when the company closed down. We would like to thank the staff of the Parkview Nursing Care Center and Juravinski Hospital for their dedication and the excellent care in the last years of his life.

For those wishing to pay their last respects the visiting hours at Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel, 1309 King St E. Hamilton are Monday, February 8th, between the hours of 4 and 4:45PM and 5-6PM. Due to the current COVID restrictions, only a maximum of 10 people are allowed to visit in each time window. Please call the funeral home ahead of time to confirm your intention to visit. A private service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday Feb 9th at 10AM followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Burlington.
