Beloved wife of Harry for 66 years and precious mother to her devoted children Leonard and Lorraine. Survived by cousins in Germany, nephews and nieces in the US, and many relatives and friends in the Hamilton area. The family extends its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Pr. Daniela Mertz for her visits and prayers, and to the doctors, nurses and staff at Hamilton General Hospital’s 5 West as well as those on the 3rd Floor of the HHS Satellite Health Facility for the care and compassion they provided to Herta.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Ps. 121: 1-4, 7-8.
