Predeceased by her beloved parents Raffaele and Anna and her brother Sebastiano (Angela Ammann).Survived by her sister Michela (Michael Partito).Cherished, adored and devoted Zia of Desirae (Rick), Anna-Dee (Chris), Daniella and Adriana. Great Aunt of Anjolie, Dane, Silas and Ryder.
Mary was passionate about her role as a legal secretary at Lamont Law. Working for the company for 7 years. Mary spent 42 years dedicated to the law industry. A devoted employee who went above and beyond for her bosses and co-workers – jokingly recognized as being the first one in and the last one out of the office.
Mary considered her family, friends and coworkers as her 3 families. One of her favourite roles was being an aunt. Whether it was playing dolls with her nieces when they were young or gossiping with them as they got older she took this role very seriously. If she wasn’t MCing a family event she was spending her time with her many friends that she treasured closely. Everyone who knew Mary knew how much she loved being creative – whether it was getting together for dinners or parties, Mary always gave it her all to make sure everyone was having a good time. Planning games at Christmas to giving gifts, and to making jokes at events this was Mary. If you asked anyone in her 3 families they would tell you that Mary had a heart of gold. She was a very generous individual who would make sure you never left empty handed and would do anything to please.
Mary will always be remembered for her unselfishness and the way that she put her all into everything she did. We’ll always imagine hearing her Jamaican accent one more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better sibling, aunt, and friend and we will miss Mary every day. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
We would like to thank the hard-working and compassionate ICU staff on Level 0 and the staff on F4 Floor at the Juravinski Hospital. We would also like to thank her loving family at Lamont Law and all her caring friends that were at her side until the end.
