Iolanda "Nina" Zottarelli

Surrounded by the love of family, at the Hamilton General Hospital, passed away into the awaiting arms of the Lord on January 3, 2014 in her 90th year. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years Ottavio. Dear Mama of Riccardo Zottarelli (Clara), Mary Verrecchia (Dominic). Cherished Nonna of Krista (Mark), Michael, Laura (Joe), Mark and Daniella. She will be fondly missed by her niece Marisa Tam (John) and their family. Predeceased by her mother and father Genoeffa and Antonio Damelico. Sisters; Pia (Gino), Mercede (Carlo), Antonia (Virginio), brothers; Ugo (Auselia), Giuseppe (Dirce), mother and father in law Giuseppina and Antonio Zottarelli, brothers in law; Primo (Adeasia), Aurelio (Maria), Giordano (Gina), Riccardo (Bruna), Marcello (Clelia), Rinaldo, Augustino, and sisters in law; Ernesta (Ferdinando) and Eleonora. She will forever live on in the hearts of her twin sister Emma (Sergio), sisters in law Giselda, Nedda, brother in law Giorgio, many nieces, nephews in Italy and Canada. A heartfelt and special thank you to the CCAC and CBI Home Health for their exceptional care. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers on Tuesday at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Church, on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 10am. Entombment in Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
