Ivan Saic

Beloved husband of Mary for 59 blessed years. Loving father of Lory (Joe) and Tommy (MaryAnn). Cherished Dida of Natalie (Lukas), Amanda, Kimberly and Joshua, and adored Great-Dida of Rome. Predeceased by his parents Šimun and Tereza and brother Tomo. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws; Teta Ljuba, Mike, and Stipa Adzijevich and their families, as well as by Saic, Begovic, Sikiric, and Žili families in Croatia. Fond memories of cherished times together will live on in the hearts of his Prijatelji Protulipac and Katkic, his kumovi, and many friends within the Croatian community.

Deeply devoted to his faith, he was an active and faithful member of Hamilton Croatia, and wholeheartedly participated in folklore (Hrvatsko Selo) and parish life. Through his warm smile, generosity and unwavering commitment, he left a lasting legacy and profound impact on the community. We are sincerely thankful to PSW

Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Thursday, February 26 from 5-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton, on Friday, February 27 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Cross Church.
