

On January 11, 2012 at Dundurn Place Care Centre in his 98th year. Predeceased by his wife, Vera May and 9 brothers and sisters. Loving father of Jack and his wife Lynn of Camrose, Alberta, his daughter Marilyn Cinnamon of Cold Lake, Alberta, and his daughter Ann and her husband Drew of Hamilton. He will be sadly missed by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He served in the RCAF during WWII and then in the regular forces. After retirement he worked for the Department of Transport. He was a member of the Rameses Shrine and the Shriners Club of Hamilton, the Royal Canadian Legion Dundas Branch, the Saint John New Brunswick Masonic Lodge #2, the Scottish Rite Club of Hamilton, the Ontario and the Dominion of Canada Rifle Associations and the 8th New Brunswick Princess Louise Hussars Association. Dad enjoyed travelling the world until he was 94 years old. In respecting Jack’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. The family would like to thank Dr. Walter Owsianik and all the staff at Dad’s home, Dundurn Place, for their loving care. Donations to the Shriners’ Hospital for Children (Canada) would be appreciated. Thank-you to Brian Unsworth at Marlatt Funeral Home for his care and comfort. Jack is now with Vera at White Chapel.
