Passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 77. Jimmy was the loving husband of Josephine Margaret Pond for 50 years. Proud father of Stephen (Silvana), Cameron (Andrea) and James Jr. (Fiona). Adoring Papa to Katrena, Emma, Keira, Kylie, Nolan, Aynslie, and Kaylin. Dear brother of John, Lillian, Suzanne, and Shirley. He is reunited with his father Chester, mother Mary, brother Robert and brother Willard. He will be deeply missed by his loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jimmy was a quiet man who showed his love through his actions. He moved from Chipman, New Brunswick to Hamilton, Ontario in the early 1960s for a better life. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company with 38 years of service. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Peter's Hospital for the care they provided to Jimmy. Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, Ontario on Monday October 1, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm.
