Passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 23, 2017, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Debbie. Cherished father of Darryl (Russann) and Karyn (Adam). Loved and proud grandfather of Kaiyla, Kieryn, Darryl Jr.“Koltyn” and Nykolas. Jim will be dearly missed by his sisters Irene Allan (Robert) and Janice Butera (Charlie) and brother-in-law Paul Tomlinson (Barbara). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Jim retired from Dofasco after 26 years of service. He was actively involved in the Hamilton Victoria Curling Club and the Hamilton Olde Sports Slo-Pitch Association, where he made many wonderful friendships. Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
