

Fell asleep in Jesus, His Lord and Saviour (I Thessalonians 4:14) on October 25, 2010 at 4:20 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton in his 84th year. Best friend and beloved husband of Evelyn Rose (Bramer) for 61 years. Eldest son of the late James and Julia Saynor. Loving Father of James (Ellen Fibison), Patricia (Don Ruddle), Rev. T. Wayne (Diane) and Scott (Ruth). Loving Grandfather of Lee, Andrew, Katelyn, Brittany, Johanna, Marnix, and Jacoba Saynor, Catherine (David Moon), Jennifer (Graeme Kirk), James Ruddle (Courtney West) and Elizabeth (Ethan Clark). Also loved Great-Grandpa of Emily, Ruby, and Finnian Kirk, William and Isadora Moon. James is also survived by a sister Ruth (Russ Bradley), a sister-in-law Beverley Saynor, three brothers, William (Marilyn), Douglas (Fran), and Donald (Carol). Pre-deceased by brother Robert in 1999. James will be remembered by the Bramer family, many cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Mr. Saynor was a Hamilton native. He attended Earl Kitchener, Ryerson and Westdale Schools. He served his Plumbing and Heating apprenticeship with J.F. Whitehead & Sons Ltd. And was a respected member of the Plumbing and Heating Industry in Hamilton for 45 years. He was President and Owner of Saynor Plumbing & Heating Ltd. for 28 years prior to his retirement in 1985. For some years he was a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association and the Advertising and Sales Club. James served on the Hamilton Youth for Christ and Guelph Bible Conference boards. He was a faithful attender and church worker for most of his life at MacNab St. Gospel Hall and 38 years at Bethany Gospel Chapel as Sunday School Superintendant and Elder. Recently attended the Stanley Avenue Baptist Church, Hamilton. He and Evelyn had the privilege of attending the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Florida for over 20 years during the winter months. They had many friends at the Indiawood Golf and Country Club. Visitation at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1895 Main Street West, Hamilton.
