Janlea Louise Upfold

Born 5:36 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 1953, Janlea passed away peacefully at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 63 years of age after an arduous and courageous battle with cancer; Robin Connor, her husband of 35 years, and her faithful canine companion Ginger by her side. Pre-deceased by their daughter Leanne Connor (2015) and Janlea’s parents Louise (2008) and Glenn (1976) Upfold. Survived by her brother Carl (Donna), sister-in-law Patricia Burgon (Brian), in-laws Ralph and Eileen Connor, niece Jenniferlea Northrup and nephews Glenn and Aaron Upfold. The family gratefully acknowledges the efforts of the many doctors, nurses, and staff of the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital. The many P.S.W.’s from C.B.I. Home Health, especially Monika, and the many nurses from St. Joseph’s Home Care, especially Pam, have provided exceptional love, care, friendship, and treatment in allowing Janlea to spend her final weeks at home. We are very grateful. Friends and family may call at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
