Jim Brcic

He is reunited with his parents Marica and Ljubo Brcic. Beloved big brother to Christine Worley. Best brother-in-law to Jeff. Devoted uncle to Stef and Andrew (Samantha). He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Canada and Croatia.

Jim was a retiree from Dofasco since 2019, after 35 years of service. He was known for his love of music, his Toronto Maple Leafs, wrestlemania, and his favourite, pizza and wings! He loved hosting our cousins’ reunions, gatherings with friends (poker night, trips to Montreal), being a part of HCSPL, his time shared with Josh and Mik and fireworks with his Pavilion Drive Family. Jim had a big heart and embraced everyone. He could always be found socializing and making people laugh. When you met Jim, you became a friend forever.

As per Jim’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday, July 2 from 9am until the time of the Memorial Service in the funeral home Chapel at 11am. A livestream of the service can be found below in the “Services” section by clicking “Join Livestream." Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, where Jim will be laid to rest with his parents.
