Joan Mary Winnifred Bowerman

She passed peacefully with family by her side at Juravinski Hospital. Predeceased by her husband of almost 69 years, Douglas (2021). Cherished mother of Janis (Arthur Cattafi) and Brian (Lori). Proud Nana of Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Steven (Shannon) Platz, Michael (Sarah) Bowerman and Shannon Bowerman. Adoring GG of Hailey, Samantha, Isabella, Brooke, Jade, Tyler, Lillian, Megan and Maddie. Pre-deceased by her son-in-law David Lewis. Sister of the late Doreen McEneny and the late Keith Hunter. Sister-in-law of Eleanor (Joe) Lyons and the late Donald (Joyce) Bowerman.

Joan was born June 14, 1930 to Murray and Dorothy Hunter in Winona, Ontario. Her family was her life and we are so proud to have had her as our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of the staff at Juravinski Hospital for the excellent care they gave to Joan during her stay.

Visitation at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral at St. Micheal's Anglican Church, 1188 Fennell Avenue East on Friday August 1, 2025 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
