Suddenly on June 18th, 2011, in his 92nd year, at the Westmount Terrace Retirement Home. Beloved husband of the late Florence (2003). Loving father of Lenore and her husband Bruce Denham, and Lorraine and her husband Wayne Thompson. Dear grandfather of Linda (Bob), Amber (Marty), Arron (Kristen), Becky (Chris), and great-grandfather of Corey, Dayna, Natalie, Tyler, Ashley and Ethan. Survived by his sisters Beverley Davidson and Jean Brewer. Predeceased by sister Hazel, brothers William, Harry, Fred and Ken. John Retired from Firestone Tire. Friends may call at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 1020 Upper James, on Wednesday 11-1 pm. Funeral service to follow at 1 pm. in the chapel. Interment Mt. Hamilton Cemetery to follow.
