Mr. John Estok

Estok John George – On July 24, 2010 surrounded by his loving family and now reunited with his beloved wife Mary (2002). Born in Hatalov Slovakia on January 5th 1923. Loving and supportive father of John and Joanne of Palm Desert California, Christine Finochio, David and Kathy, Joanne and George Rau, Rick and Sharon. World’s Best Papa of Leigh (Joey), Mark (Erin), Jeff (Jessica), Michael (Susie), Andrea (Diedert), Michael (Shauna), Erin, Christine, Alison, Rachel and Jonathan. Great Papa of Ian, Caleb, Noah, Ella, Jacob and Amy. Dear brother of Helen Novorolsky and the Late Charlie of Scarborough, and brother in law of Winnie and the late Michael Estok of Cambridge. Brother in law of John and Margaret Hussar of Ottawa and the late Joe Hussar. John will also live on in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada and Slovakia. Dedicated employee with over 35 years of service at Barber-Die Castings. John’s love for music and strong ties to his Slovak heritage will forever live in the hearts of his family. A special thank you to Dr. Oren Levine, Dr.Legassie and all the dedicated nurses on 4 C.T.U. at St Josephs Hospital, for you kindness and support. Visiting at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) will be held on Monday July 26th from 2-4 and 6:30-9pm. Rosary Service on Monday at 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church (204 Park Street North Hamilton) on Tuesday July 27th 2010 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
