John Thomas "Hub" Gromadsky

Surrounded by the love of his family, Hub passed away on June 8, 2013 at the age of 57 years. Cherished son of the late Irena Kruk (1986) and Donna Kasprowicz. Dearly missed by his sisters Irene (Bob) Bortolotto, Stephanie (Lorenzo) Biasetti, as well as nephew and nieces Michael, Britnay, Sara and Lauren. Hub was a graduate of Cathedral High School and worked for many years at Aberdeen Carpet. Hub was best friend of Keirn (Cindi) Brennan, God son Grant and his brother Corey. Dearly missed by Marco (Sue) Filipcic, Frank (Debbie) Passa, Vince (Karen) Guiducci, Dave Caiazzo and their families also Chris Drown and Zozo, who drove Hub anywhere he wanted to go, Dave "No Legs" (Madeline Weger), Ralph (Sandy) Grimaldi and Adam and Charmaine. Hub would like to thank Barbie "BooBoo" Bolyea who brought great joy and happiness to his life. Fondly remembered by his friends at Karlees, the people at Chedoke Hospital, especially his wonderful caring doctor Sharon Grad, adopted mumsie physio therapist, Pam Barr, nurse Anne, all the wonderful support staff as well as Dr. Dave Smosarski, Dr. Justin De-Beers and the late Dr. Nigel Colter John. Special thanks to the staff of the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassion and care in making Hub's last days more comfortable. All visiting nurses, VON Trish and Betty, Bayshore nurses Melana and Cindy 1 and 2. Thank you to all of you. Visitation for Hub will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Hub's Life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. In keeping with Hub's wishes, cremation has taken place.
