Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday December 22, 2012 in his 90th year after an honest hardworking and enjoyable life. Predeacesed by his wife Shirley (2004). Loving father of Richard (Elspeth), Robert and John (Janet). Grandfather of Shannon Perrone and Janice Hynes and great-grandfather of Sean Perrone. John served in the Air Force Reserves during WWII, worked 46 years at the American Can Co., and was happiest when playing horseshoes in the yard or watching the Mount Hope Air Shows with family and friends. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday December 28 from 2-4 pm at Cresmount Funeral Home, Upper James Chapel, 1020 Upper James Street. Cremation has taken place.
