Passed away peacefully at the Juravinksi Hospital on December 26, 2010, in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Lovingly remembered by partner of 18 years, Eva Hayton, and her daughter Arlene Roberts. Also remembered by his step-daughtes Karen Damsma and Elizabeth Rotherham. John is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A World War II Veteran. A memorial service will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Saturday, January 8, 2011, with an internment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
