With family by his side on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Juravinski Hospital in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of Jean for 69 years. Father of Susan (Donald), Wendy (Rudy), and Steve (Phyllis). Survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Donald (June) and sisters Frances Carman, Donna (Al) Williston, and sisters-in-law Mildred and Shirley, and brother-in-law Ed Crocker. Predeceased by Ethel (Ralph) Wright, Mary (Bill) Thomas, William McMullen, Alvin (Shirley) McMullen, Shirley Crocker, and Norman McMullen. Alec retired from Stelco after 33 years of service. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Alec’s life at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 1 – 3 p.m. Donations in Alec’s memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
