John Morrow

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his step daughter Jeannie and son in law Lloyd, at Dundurn Place on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Nancy and companion of the late Barb Murray (2016). John is survived by his children Janice, Ian, Wayne; step daughter Jeannie (Lloyd); grandchildren Tyler, the late Zac; sister in law Phyllis and her children Stephen and Gail (Patrick) along with their children. Dear brother of Christina, Isabel, Minnie, Susan and Margaret who reside in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Jean and brothers William, George and Thomas. John retired from the HSR/CCL in 1991 where he was a bus driver for 33 years. He lived life to the fullest and was able to travel, he enjoyed his family and friends and was always ready for a “Hook-Up”. As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be buried with his family in Ireland. He loved life always saying when I die have a party on me with good food, good friends and lots of stories. Please join us at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 1-5 pm for a celebration of life.
