It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of John on September 7, 2023 in his 81st year.
Survived by his true love Linda (nee Thompson) of 51 years. Proud and loving father of John J. (Linda) and Ryan (Lesley), grandchildren Brandon, Lucas, Ciara and Hailey and his “fur babies”. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Charlotte.
With his wife he operated J. Pryke Tax Services and proudly served thousands of clients for decades before retirement. He was a passionate fan of the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays and a fastball player for much of his life.
Pops touched so many lives and will live on in the memories and stories that he has left with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was full of love, smiles, antics, good times, continual laughter, and a lot of fun. He is irreplaceable.
In lieu of a funeral and in keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. We ask that you kindly honour John by sharing your special memories of him and any photos on this site.
