TREIER; John: August 31, 1959 - November 24th, 2021. Survived by his love of 28 years, Rose Archer, it is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of a beloved son, brother, spouse and honourary-father, John Frank Treier. John passed away the morning of Wednesday November 24th, 2021. He shared his life with Rose, her children Dionne (Trevor), Tania (Peter) and grandchildren. John was born in Hamilton, Ontario to Leopold and Maria Treier. Leopold passed away in 2019. He was a caring younger brother to Tony (Deborah Anne) and his niece Kristen (Richard). John will be remembered by his family in Canada and Germany, his many friends and co-workers. "When the lights go down in the city. And the sun shines on the bay. I want to be there in my city by the bay..." Lights by Journey. Thank you to the caring Hamilton EMS response team and the medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, will be required to attend this service for those age 12 and older. Masks are required. Friends and family will be received for visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street E., Hamilton, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday December 10th, 2021.
