Peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospital, Blair passed away on March 18, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his wife Flossie (after 43 years of marriage). Beloved father to Michael, Patricia, Deborah and Diana (Donald). Grandfather to Christopher and Matthew. Brother to Theresa and Gerald. Dearly missed by his nephews, nieces and friends. Blair was retired from the Iron Workers Local 736 after many years of service. He was also an accomplished artist who was recognized by both the local media and the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Monday, March 21 from 7-9p.m. and Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Cancer Foundations of Hamilton would be appreciated.
