Born September 1, 1922 in Riga, Latvia, died peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Victor Pelude (2007). Remembered by her children Ivar (Marilyn), Sigrid (Terry) and Linda (Corinna). Oma to Krista (Chris), Karlis (Michelle), Gregory (Monica), Alexandra (Soeum), Christian (Anne) and Andrea (Darren). Great Oma to Simon, Rowan, Clarissa, Nikita, Devon and Colton. The family would like to thank the staff at Aberdeen Gardens Retirement Home for all of their care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton (east of Sanford Avenue) on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Art Gallery of Hamilton (905-527-6610 ext.250) would be appreciated.
