

Born in Schumacher, Ontario in 1930 and moved to Hamilton to raise her boys. Will be dearly missed by son Joey (Brenda) and John (Marcy), grandchildren Kaylyn (Patrick Campbell), Mark (Kristine) and great grandchildren Olivia and Luka. Never forgotten by dear sister Mandy Bubas and niece Kristine McCambridge, husband Kevin and sons Owen, Mathew and Furry Gus. Missed by our northern nieces and nephews Tony Gomercich, Susan Taylor, Jo-Anne Gomercich and families. Predeceased by husband Joe, brother Joseph Gomercich, sister Mary Gomercich and dear nephew Michael Bubas. Mom, her wits at 100% never missed a Toronto Maple Leaf game since we got a T.V. in 1960. She ate cracker jacks, gummy bears and chewed Hubba Bubba. She was extremely kind, friendly, talkative and liked by all. She had no fear of Covid, even wearing a mask, hated being locked down and longed for her love of Florida and freedom. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, on Wednesday, January 17 from 6:30pm-9pm with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10am. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations for the Preservation of the Croatian Hall in Schumacher, Ontario.
