CARTER, Kathleen Norah It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Mother in her 92nd year on Friday evening, October 5, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton. Mrs. Kathleen (Kay) Carter was living at home in her condominium where she wished to remain and receive health care services, and the good attentive care that she so appreciated. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph (1988). Cherished mother of her daughter Catherine, Selkirk, ON, oldest son William, Bermuda, and youngest son Patrick, France. Loving grandmother of Patrick and Paula. Loving (second mother) to son Patrick's very good friend Robert Johnstone (Bobby J.) who would attend to her desires for her favourite Harvey's hamburger. It is truly remarkable how she maintained contact with so many people. For years she launched the Christmas Season in our family as her card was always the first to arrive. Our Mother had birthdays and anniversaries marked on every year's calendar so as not to miss sending a card. Over the years her beautiful handwriting never wavered or changed. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East) on Friday, October 12th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 13th at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Inichment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
