From the loving arms of her daughters Kathleen has been relieved of her pain and carried on the wings of the angels to Heaven in her 69th year on May 19, 2010. She will be cherished in the memories of her children, Donna, Michele (Tony) Marchionda, Danielle and Nicole. Kathleen absolutely adored her grandaughters Christina, Melanie and Caitlin. Gramma's passion for life will forever shine from within their hearts. Known as Katie to her siblings Jimmy, John and Wayne Rust and Pat Pye. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Deborah Rust and siblings Victor, Marie McMaster and Albert. Kathleen was retired from the H.H.S. The family will receive friends at the UPPER JAMES CHAPEL of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayers Friday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church (at the corner of Viewpoint and Mountain Park Avenue) on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to the Wellwood Centre.
