Klaus Kober

Beloved husband of Lucy for 65 years. Loving father of Gord (Danielle) and Desmond. Proud grandfather of Bailey and Hanna (John). He will also be lovingly remembered by members of the Ellul family, and nieces, nephews, and friends. He is reunited with his dear son Ronald (2012). Klaus was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1957 with his father. His mother and sister, Gitte, came to Canada once they were settled. Over the years, he worked as a mechanic at various locations, retiring from International Harvester (Case IH) in 1999.

As a younger man, he enjoyed boxing, he was always listening to music, was a car enthusiast, especially Volkswagen and BMW's (Mercedes he considered overrated), and Porsche. His happiest times were spent with family. The family wish to thank Dr. Oczkowski, Dr. Xu, Dr. Hobbs, nurses Barb, Julia, and Sonya for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Monday, September 1st from 4 - 7 pm. The Funeral Service to celebrate his life will take place in the Cresmount Chapel on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1 pm. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
